Registry Information

Dan has been amazing and helped to create both registries since Sharon absolutely cannot stand shopping (and was found in tears with the registering gun in her hand at Macy's).

We are registered with the I Do Foundation. Through this website, we were able to register with Cooking.com and Macy's.

Also, we have a charity registry on the I Do Foundation website. The charity registry allows guests to donate to our charities in lieu of - or in addition to - another gift. The charities we are supporting are: Make a Wish Foundation, Doctors Without Borders, American Jewish World Service, Habitat for Humanity International.

We are also registering for a shubbery. A two level shrubbery with a little path running down the middle.:)

Accomodations

Rooms have been reserved at two area hotels:

Clarion Hotel and Conference Center
One Atwood Drive, Northampton MA 01060
(800) 582-2929
Please mention the Wretzel/Mason wedding to get the special rates of 149.99-159.99 per night

Comfort Inn, Hadley
237 Russell Street, Hadley MA 01035
(413) 584-9816
Please mention the Wretzel/Mason wedding to get the special rate of 94.50 per night

The Clarion Hotel is about 10 minutes closer to the massachusetts turnpike (and thus to westfield and stanley park), but both are EASY to get to and to find.

Driving to Western Massachusetts

These are general directions to help you plan your trip, with more specific directions as we get closer to the date.

From the South:
95 North to 91 North (exit 48, left hand exit). Take 91 North, through Connecticut, over the Massachusetts State Line. Get into the left hand lane until past exit 13 (to avoid sneaky right hand exits without much room to move over). Go to exit 18, which is Northampton.
Time: 3.5 hours from Long Island, either driving around or taking the Bridgeport ferry. 1.5 hours from New Haven

From Boston and Boston Logan Airport:
90 west to exit 4, which is I-91. Take 91 North towards Holyoke. Go to exit 18, which is Northampton.
Time: 1.5 - 1.75 hours from Boston

From Hartford Airport:
Follow signs for I-91, taking the connector road to the highway. Stay in left hand lane, and go north on 91 towards Springfield. Then, follow directions as listed above in "from south."
Time: 40 minutes if you are running late. 45- 50 minutes if you drive the speed limit:)

Also: beware you drivers with New York license plates! We will be leading up to the World Series by that time, and all New York licensed drivers will be looked upon with suspicious eyes by the Massachusetts State Police. Drive cautiously! :)

Air Travel to Western Massachusetts

The nearest domestic airport is Bradley/Hartford (BDL). Bradley is approximately a 45 minute drive from Northampton.

The nearest international airport is Boston Logan Airport (BOS). It is approximately a 1 hour and 45 minute drive from the airport to Northampton. Again, very easy (two highways between the airport and the hotels).
